The reason for this dramatic growth is simple distance education is simply the easiest and most convenient way to complete a tertiary education. Open Universities Australia (OUA) is the national leader in distance tertiary education, with enrolments four times what they were five years ago, and 32 per cent growth between 2008 and 2009 alone. OUAs postgraduate courses have been particularly popular, with enrolments up 45.7 per cent between 2008 and 2009. In partnership with OUA, Career FAQs is pleased to be able to offer 23 exciting new courses in subject areas of increasing interest and demand from human rights and sports coaching to information and library studies and transport and logistics.The new course offerings are particularly relevant to graduates and postgraduates looking to specialise or deepen their knowledge in their chosen field with postgraduate certificates and diplomas (such as the Graduate Certificate in Education Law), or masters degrees (including the Master of Information Management).
